Brent Eames is the owner and founder of Eames Law Group, Ltd.  As the son of a union carpenter and a union teacher, Brent Eames grew up with a fundamental understanding of the struggles that ordinary people can face when standing up for their rights against multimillion dollar corporations and insurance companies.

He is a frequent lecturer at educational seminars on workers’ compensation on behalf of the ISBA.

Brent Eames is an aggressive trial attorney who has an established track record of securing top-dollar verdicts, awards and settlements on behalf of his clients. This began during his first year of practice, when at the age of 26, Mr. Eames obtained a trial verdict in LaSalle County for over $1,200,000.00 on behalf of an injured pedestrian who was struck by an automobile at a high rate of speed, causing serious injuries. In the years since, Brent Eames has continued to build upon this success across Illinois in claims for personal injury and workers’ compensation claims.  He practices in all courts, including the trial court level, the Illinois Appellate Courts, and all matters before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.

A large focus of Mr. Eames’s practice is dedicated to representing firefighters, EMTs, and police officers injured in the line of duty. In addition to workers’ compensation hearings, Brent frequently represents firefighters, EMTs, and police officers in their applications for disability benefits under the Illinois Pension Code, as well as lawsuits and claims related to PSEBA and PEDA benefits.
