Attorney Brent Eames was recently invited to serve as a guest lecturer at Northern Illinois University College of Engineering and Engineering Technology to speak to students regarding occupational injuries and illnesses, as well as the Illinois workers’ compensation system. Brent spoke to students regarding the history of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act, as well as common issues which arise when a worker suffers a serious illness or injury arising out of their employment.

Brent is a 2009 graduate of NIU College of Law, and he remains very active in the NIU community. He currently serves on the Board of Visitors for NIU College of Law, and he is a past President of the College of Law’s Alumni Council.
